Chemical spillages can cause severe deterioration to concrete surfaces resulting in maintenance and loss of revenue. For an aluminium anodising facility in the USA a scheduled shutdown was needed to carry out necessary maintenance repair to concrete floors and trenches which had been chemically attacked.
