Along with the Sydney Opera House and Ayers Rock, the Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of Australia’s most recognised landmarks. It goes without saying that the effective protection of the steel structure against corrosion and its visual appearance are extremely important.

The organisation charged with the care of the Bridge, RTA (Roads and Traffic Authority, New South Wales) chose to utilise a high performance  Interzinc®, Intergard®, and Interthane® system from International Protective Coatings.

Not only is this system more durable and corrosion resistant than the previous coatings, it is more aesthetically pleasing and far more environmentally friendly with only 25% of the  level of VOC (solvent) emissions.
