The largest operating offshore wind farm, London Array, produced a record breaking 369GWh in the month of December, beating the previous record of 317GWh set in November by the 630MW project.

AkzoNobel supplied a number of International protective coatings to the London Array project. The wind farm used Interzone 954, a heavy duty single coat epoxy product and Interthane 990, a polyurethane finish, on the turbine foundations, whilst the substation utilized a protective system of Interzinc 52, Intergard 475HS and Interthane 990.

London Array consists of 175 Siemens 3.6MW turbines and is based in the Thames Estuary, where the River Thames meets the North Sea.
