The Interchar range from International Protective Coatings provides a solution where the need for lasting fire protection and good aesthetics is met. Used on structures such as airports, office buildings, hotels, conference centres and power stations Interchar offers protection against cellulosic fires and is designed to keep steel below critical core temperature for longer.

Interfine acrylic polysiloxane is chosen for the worlds most iconic projects like the London Eye and the Beijing Olympics. Its colour and gloss lasts four times longer than traditional finishes, meaning less maintenance and less cost. Ideally suited for application on both new construction and maintenance projects in a wide range of atmospheric conditions, Interfine will offer corrosion protection which can be caused by the detrimental effects of natural sunlight.

For on-site maintenance where application by brush and roller is becoming more and more prevalent, Interthane® 870 achieves builds of up to 75μm (3mils) dft in a single application. This feature can reduce the number of coats required, so reducing man hours on the project and keeping costs to a minimum whilst maintaining the high levels of cosmetic performance.

Interzinc® 315 is a low VOC, high solids, zinc epoxy that combines excellent application characteristics with rapid handling and recoat, even down to temperatures below 0°C (32°F). These features make Interzinc® 315 an ideal coating for application in the fabrication shop, allowing rapid throughput of steel combined with compliance with environmental regulations and reduced solvent emissions.
