Interzone 9545 - Heavy duty hybrid epoxy

Based on AkzoNobel patent protected technology, Interzone® 9545 is a novel HYBRID epoxy technology, combining three curing mechanisms to deliver enhanced production performance to drive down the cost per foundation and increase the number of foundations that can be produced in a week.
It builds upon the extensive track record of the Interzone range which is the industry benchmark in the energy sector.
It is specifically designed for customers engaged in serial production and fabrication of offshore wind foundations and monopiles who require an ISO 12944 CX or Norsok approved coating system solution. Interzone 9545 offers high solids and is fast to install using standard single leg application equipment. It is a tri-cure epoxy technology suitable for offshore submerged and splash zone environments with outstanding corrosion protection in an ultra-high solids formulation, combined with rapid cure capability.
Interzone 9545 cures 4 X faster than alternative ultra-high solids / solvent free epoxies and doesn’t require specialised twin feed application. It also outperforms industry standard accelerated testing requirements and the HSE profile of our Interzone epoxy technology is superior to polyester and requires no additional handling investments.

Hard dry in 8 hours at 10°C, it offers up to 50% faster throughput in the shop. Low temperature cure (18 hours hard dry at 5°C) which can support faster throughput and/or lower heating costs.
