Long term corrosion protection to the steel and concrete used in the Water and Wastewater market.
Ultimately designed to prime substrates and promote adhesion prior to the application of one of both decorative and protective membranes. Intercrete 4813 is a single component product and is compatible with a wide range of ferrous, non-ferrous metals and difficult to adhere to substrates including steel, lead, zinc, aluminium, copper, flashband, bitumen paint and roofing felt. It is ideally suited for use in combination with the Intercrete range of cold applied liquid roofing system for the anti-corrosion protection of roofs with metallic protrusions.
Designed to provide protection from water and oil ingress and enhance freeze/thaw resistance whilst enabling easier removal of oil, grease, paint, graffiti, etc. Used on substrates such as concrete, brick, masonry and stone. As supplied, it is ideally suited to the treatment of car park decks and other trafficked areas, and it may be diluted on-site to provide a more cost-effective solution for the treatment of walls. Suitable for surface protection systems principles 1.1 and 2.1 as defined in BS EN 1504 Part 2.
Designed as a cosmetic quality fairing coat and thin screed render for filling minor blow holes, surface imperfections and levelling concrete surfaces to provide a fair faced finish. Suitable for repair methods 3.1, 3.3, 7.1, 7.2 as defined by BS EN 1504-3. CE-marked in accordance with BS EN 1504-3 Class R2.
Designed as a one coat render for spray or trowel application on external and Internal walls as described in EN988-1. Intercrete 4823 is fibre reinforced to provide excellent tensile strength, impact strength and the ability to resist cracking. The dense matrix provides excellent protection from the ingress of acid gases, moisture and chlorides. Can be applied at thicknesses from 5-50mm in a single coat which greatly reduces application costs. Highly waterproof resisting 7 bar hydrostatic pressure on both the positive and negative side when applied at 10mm thickness. Conforms to the requirements of BS 8102:2009, the Code of Practice for Protection of Structures Against Water from the Ground, providing the optimum ‘Grade 3’ completely dry environment.
For the filling of blow holes and small surface defects in precast and in-situ concrete to produce an aesthetic durable finish. Suitable for repair methods 3.1 as defined by BS EN 1504-3. Fine grade, polymer modified mortar for filling blow holes and minor surface defects. Available in Grey and White versions to enable colour matching with the parent concrete. CE-marked in accordance with BS EN 1504-3 Class R1. Suitable for repair methods 3.1 as defined by BS EN 1504-3.
A uniquely formulated cementitious material for sealing the surface gap at the interlock or clutch between piles prior to the application of a Intercrete cementitious anti-corrosion coating. Materials are pre-packaged in a convenient and easy to handle size, requiring only mixing on site. A unique blend of surfactants enables easy application with a pointing gun. Gel structure breaks down under shear to ensure complete filling. Intercrete 4844 is self-priming, hydrates to provide an alkaline environment which chemically reacts with the substrate to accelerate the re-passivation of steel, providing excellent adhesion to steel and is tolerant to lower levels of steel preparation, including chloride contamination.
A single component, water-based (VOC free), rapid curing, acrylic copolymer modified with a unique water-emulsified epoxy cross-linking agent and siloxane emulsion. Intercrete 4816 is inherently hydrophobic and alkali resistant, making it ideal for application to a wide range of new and aged mineral substrates. It is non-hazardous, and application is by brush, roller or airless spray to prime and stabilise surfaces prior to the application of Intercrete specialist membranes. Intercrete 4816 cures to form a clear film with an identifying green tint, both on and within the substrate, to provide an ideal surface for subsequent treatment.
Designed as a versatile, two component cementitious coating / wearing screed for levelling and waterproofing tamped or uneven concrete floors, or floors with no waterproofing membrane. Intercrete 4853 can be used as a waterproof cementitious coating, an underlayment or as a wearing screed to provide resistance to abrasion and trafficking, including level and sloping substrates and ramps. Can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 0 - 60mm Suitable for application to saturated substrates, or floors with no waterproofing membrane, without risk of blistering.
Specifically designed for rapid cosmetic repairs to in-situ and pre-cast concrete where repairs need to be colour matched to the parent concrete to provide a highly aesthetic finish. Intercrete 4808 demonstrates rapid strength development, achieving over 9MPa in 2 hours. Ultimate physical properties of cured materials are similar to base concrete. Not suitable for repairs deeper than 25mm. CE-marked in accordance with BS EN 1504-3 Class R1. Suitable for repair methods 3.1 as defined by BS EN 1504-3.
